About Us

Who Are We?

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) is an international professional society for Agricultural and Biological Engineers and people in related fields. The student branch at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is committed to providing professional development, academic development, and social opportunities to students in the Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE) department at Illinois.

What We Do

ASABE at Illinois puts on a wide array of activities throughout the year to meet our commitments to our members. These include our monthly general meetings during which we invite speakers from industry, hosting outreach booths at both Engineering Open House and Explore ACES, social events like bowling and happy hours, and attending the ASABE Annual International Meeting. To find out more about our club and what we do, feel free to contact us or stop by one of our monthly meetings!
